adoption. This is not our standard practice, but we will try to do it
as long as we can find the resources to support the efforts. If you
would like to contribute to help in this activity, please visit our

support these dogs receive a second chance on life....

Koda
Koda is a sweet, long but short to the ground, black and white
Siberian/Malamute female who was abandoned by her owners, left on a
chain in the open sun, without food and water. She is estimated to be
about 3-4 yrs., around 70 lbs., house-trained and an affectionate girl who
enjoys the company of other dogs - is really quite dog social. Her eyes
are blue and she has an ear top that is missing due to being neglected and
was partially removed. She pulls on a leash, but has not demonstrated
any aggressive traits and loves treats. She has played with 8-10 yr. old
children and is gentle with them. She should not be trusted with cats and
should be separated when being fed around other dogs, but is very
manageable. She would make a great addition for families looking for a
companion for a current resident dog who wants a playmate.
Koda is looking for her forever home. If you are interested
in giving her that loving home please fill out our
adoption application.

Koda
Koda is a neutered 6 yr. old woolly Mal/husky mix who is a good solo dog. He
enjoys people and requires a breed savvy owner who can work with him & enjoy his
affection, but set boundaries. He came to a shelter with a former injury on his
neck and can be sensitive about touching that area. He loves walks & treats and
will make a great independent companion.
Koda is looking for his forever home. If you are interested
in giving him that loving home please fill out our
adoption application.
